Biography

David was born in Scotland in 1974.

He moved to London in 1996 after graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee with a degree in fine art. In London, David was employed as an assistant in a photographic studio in North London, working with a variety of photographers within the advertising sector.

Outside of the world of photography, David is a keen sportsman and loves travelling which has played a large part in both his personal and professional work. David has taken shots in India, Cuba, Morocco and all throughout Europe; more recently producing work in Vancouver and L.A. where he worked with stuntmen and women.

David’s advertising commissions include global campaigns for Nike Replica kits and Nike Pro, shooting Olympians for Adidas and the new England football World Cup strip for Umbro.

David's personal work has most recently seen him working with survivors of the Holocaust to document their individual stories.
